Natalie and Philip’s wedding at Wolftrap Farm in Gordonsville, Virginia was a beautiful and intimate celebration surrounded by close friends and family. The love was easy to feel all day long.
From the rolling pastures to the open skies and rustic barn, this venue gave us everything we needed for a heartfelt wedding. It was a smaller ceremony and reception, full of moments that mattered. I also put together a full highlight video to relive it all.
Side note: I photographed and filmed this wedding solo. Most of the video was captured with a stationary camera, with handheld clips added in intentionally.

We started with portraits beneath the trees and ended with a sunset session in the field. During our golden hour shoot, one of the horses came to the edge of the pasture and watched us quietly. Guests aren’t allowed to pet or feed the horses at Wolftrap Farm, but the timing and the backlighting were perfect. It added a bit of quiet magic to the portraits.
This wedding is one of my favorites not just because of the setting, but because of how real and connected the entire day felt. Natalie and Philip were present, joyful, and fully in it. And it shows.
I delivered over 700 final images from 6 hours of coverage this day. Below are some of the moments that tell their story best.
