about
I photograph weddings and proposals for couples who want to stay present and enjoy the moment without feeling managed or staged.
If you want photos that feel like you, and a photographer who keeps things grounded and moving, you’re in the right place.
Your wedding day moves quickly. There’s a lot happening, a lot of emotion, and very little time to slow it down.
Photography is one of the few things that lasts beyond the day itself. Long after the flowers are gone and the timeline is forgotten, the photographs are what bring you back. I take that responsibility seriously.
I don’t just document the big moments. I pay attention to the in-between ones—the way your partner looked at you when they thought no one was watching, the quiet moment before walking down the aisle, the split second before everyone erupted into laughter. Those fleeting, unscripted moments are often the ones that matter most.
I’m married to my wife, Laura. We got married in April 2025, and we’re expecting our first baby soon. Planning a wedding myself changed the way I see this work. I understand how quickly the day goes and how important it is to feel present during it all.
Through my real estate photography and videography work, I’m behind the camera almost every day. That consistency means I adjust instinctively to changing light, tight timelines, and unexpected moments. I don’t need technical pauses to get the shot—I’m already ready when things happen.
Outside of photography, I’m a big fan of cycling. If it’s summer in Richmond, there’s a good chance you’ll find me racing or taking photos at Bryan Park on Tuesday nights.
Calm, aware, and unobtrusive.
I work quietly with fully silent cameras and stay aware of what’s happening around me. I anticipate moments before they unfold so I’m ready without drawing attention.
When direction is needed, I keep it simple and natural. When it’s not, I stay out of the way.
You enjoy the day. I handle the rest.
Timeless photos. Modern couples.
My work blends documentary storytelling with true-to-life color and classic black and white.
I focus on connection, natural movement, and genuine emotion, rather than stiff posing or forced moments.
This is what that looks like in practice:
Moments happen quickly. I’ve learned to read situations and recognize when emotion is building so I’m ready when it peaks.
Movement keeps photos feeling alive. My prompts are light and natural, designed to create interaction rather than poses.
I shoot a lot on purpose. Every frame builds toward the images that matter most, the ones that truly reflect the day.
I deliver every image in color. About 15% are also provided as black and white copies for a timeless, classic look.
Color is vibrant while staying true to life. Greens look green, not the yellow-brown tones popular in current trends. Your day looks the way it actually felt.
Black and white is classic and timeless, inspired by the look of film. These images are emotion-driven and designed to stand the test of time.

For couples who want more than still images, I offer highlight films captured alongside photography.
This is ideal if you want a meaningful video keepsake without adding another vendor or multiple cameras following you throughout the day.
Short video moments are captured naturally as the day unfolds. No extra coordination. No added pressure.
If you’re looking for someone who will keep things calm, capture what actually happens, and treat your day with care, I’d love to talk.
You can explore full galleries, learn more about coverage options, or reach out with a question. No pressure.
